We cruised on along stopping briefly at Tesco Leamington, then ascended the two locks to moor at The Cape of Good Hope near Warwick. We thought we deserved a bit of a rest day which started off being cloudy, but still warm.
We walked over to the Saltisford Arm where fellow bloggers on nb Hadar are moored. Jo made us all tea and we sat out on the patio by their lovely garden chatting for a couple of hours. Paddy came out for a stroke and just as we were leaving Marmite decided to come out for a roll about. It was lovely to see them both looking so well after their Hospital ordeal. The G1 bus then took us into Warwick as it was Fish Friday at W’s after-which we went walkabout for a couple of hours before returning to Oakfield. Altogether a grand day out.
