Well, our 48 hours were up, so we arose very early and had a nice free shower together in the Canal and River Trust Service Station. Topping up with water we were off as the day began to warm up. These lovely horses were gathering at the gate for their human to come. En route we spotted our friends Mike and Gerry aboard Tubbs, shouting out a quick hello etc to each other, they continued on south.
At Hurleston Junction a boat was waiting to ascend the locks up to Llangollen. We carried on up to Barbridge where we stopped for a coffee break, but decided to stay where we were overnight. It was so tiring to move about in the heat, but there was a gentle breeze blowing through the boat keeping us cool inside.
