We ascended the rest of Audlem Locks in two hours as we exchanged at every one with boats coming down. Most of this canal has concrete edging with a ledge just below the waterline that grates away the bottom of the boat, so wheelbarrow wheels are a necessity. We were pleased to see some tin with mooring rings below Adderley Locks, so we pulled over for the night. Just having a rest with tea and cake as the rain came down, lucky again I guess.
