Bottle made two new friends when we went up for a drink in The Lower Lode Hotel, the hound of the Bassets, and GC the second. He seems to be a bit of an animal magnet doesn’t he? We set off early-ish next morning to cruise up to Worcester.
We passed Mythe Water Pumping Station, then under Mythe Bridge which was designed by Thomas Telford in 1826 as a toll bridge. We encountered two river cruisers on their way down.
The Conway Castle carrying excited waving schoolchildren and the Edward Elgar which is shaped rather like a bath tub!
Elver was being loaded with aggregate and further up river Perch, Pike and Chubb were unloading theirs. We also saw a Heron posing and a Triffid.

Hi Both,
Just to say how good those brass mushrooms look against the green roof.
Take care,
Dave.
