Onwards to Sawley.

Leaving our nice peaceful mooring behind at Beeston we shared locks with another boat. There is a lock keeper at Sawley who had the electrically operated lock ready for us to cruise into. We moored up just beyond and wandered over to Sawley Marina for some bolts we wanted. There is a chandlery/gift shop and restaurant there and with the many boats moored around it was rather like a small village in itself.

Today has been a bit windy at times with intermittent sunshine and heavy showers. Bottle is rather disappointed with his sandals as they are supposed to be waterproof, and he got wet feet! The bonus of mooring here is that at last we have a decent signal for the internet, 3G five bars, whoopy-doodle-doo.
