Well it was supposed to be a rainy day, but we had a nice dry run along to Braunston. meeting Del and Al on Derwent 6, going in the wrong direction! At Barby we saw David and Liz on nb Horus, they seem to be well settled and happy on their linear mooring with adjoining garden. At the church field we started looking for a space to moor and found one just past the Boathouse Inn behind Maffi on the Milly M. He invited us in for coffee, then we went over to the pub for lunch together. I took Molly for a run around the field and discovered some mushrooms growing there.

This unusual shaped wide beam boat was moored up nearby. Our family came over at the weekend so we pushed Oakfield over to the Boat House moorings and went in for lunch. It had just changed from a 4hr limited stay to 24 hours for the winter months, perfick! We had a wonderful time aboard catching up, doing some leaf rubbing pictures playing and reading stories. Needless to say we needed some time to recuperate afterwards. Mark came by on Calisto to fill us up with diesel and coal, so we will be ready for the cold snap when it arrives.
