This Railway signal made a nice feature on the bank of the canal. We passed through Cookley Tunnel which had been carved through the solid rock.
Debdale Lock has several interesting features. A Lock Cottage, a large circular weir, a cave carved in the rock by the lock and quaint sandstone steps leading down from the tail of the lock, very useful for getting back on board.

We moored above Wolverley Lock opposite the ‘Duck House’.
