Things are Happening...........Honest.

We visited Fernwood today and we now have calorifier, some pipe work, the start of the bed and some galley bases.

There is also a floor, some wall panels and the position of the shower.

We spent most of the time redesigning the saloon, my ideas when mocked up, were obviously wrong. You live and learn.

That is one of the many reasons to pick Fernwood, you can have what you want but with their experience, you get steered gently to the sensible solution.

There is no pressure, you can still insist on your way but as one previous owner has admitted, Fernwood's way was better and is now having it changed.

She's coming together, Bottle. You've been very patient, but it will be worth it in the end.

Hi Bottle - just found your blog from a link on Derwent6's - great, I have been suffering withdrawal symptoms since Derwent6 and Caxton were finished. It's great to find another build to follow. We are Roger and Pip, and our new narrowboat 'Windsong' is just about finished and will be ready for launch late May. Roger has just retired from the RAF, and we are going to 'live the dream'! Will watch the development of your dream with interest! See you on the cut sometime!

Hi Willawaw

Yes, we have been patient but as it gets closer a small amount of frustration is creeping in.

Hi Pip

Do hope it is late May and not early June.
Just had a look at your blog, the boat does look good, sign writing is excellent.

Will add you to my roll.
